Every sacred culture, throughout time, has worshipped a primordial tree of life. In its many cultural expressions, the universal tree offers timeless orientation in times of need and confusion. This is
such a time.
More recently the Greek Cypriot Mystic, Dr. Stylianos Atteshlis (a.k.a ‘Daskalos’) contributed an essential guide to the Symbol of Life (Khet-Ankh) drawing on its roots in
ancient Egypt up through the coming of the Christ. He saw the Symbol of Life as a
unifying force, drawing on many traditions, and yet preceeding and transcending all.
It is truely universial.
The Symbol shares ancient roots with the Kabbalah with the 10 centers on the Symbol
of Life corresponding to both organs and chakras on the bodies. It describes our move
away from the Godhead into a sense of speration. Through it we return to unity,
coupled with full self-awareness. By invoking the symbols, mantras and colors the
individual centers are awoken and the paths between the centers start to flow freely. The fruits of the tree of life are
hanging low and bountiful.

and open spiritual doors.
We will draw heavily on the once lost Gospel of Philip which unearths many of the gems embedded in the Tree of Life.

Paul (b. 1961) attended Hampshire College and University of Maine (BA in Philosophy and Sociology) studied under Kyriacos Markides (Sociology). Paul studied
shamanism and Buddhism in Kathmandu, Nepal (with the University of Wisconsin).
